General Process & Tips

The products are manufactured within in EU in the Baltic region by a skilled team with extensive knowledge and long-standing experience in researching, developing, and producing natural and organic skincare. The factory is ISO22716:2007 certified to guarantee the utmost product quality. The stainless steel machinery from Switzerland, enabling us to achieve luxurious product textures. Every process within our factory is environmentally friendly, from the cleaning agents we use to the 100% renewable electricity powering our machines.

After opening, the products have 3-24 months validity period. But rest assured, there’s also an expiration date listed on the packaging.

To keep your products safe, store them in a dry, cool place (recommended 10-20 degrees Celsium / 50-68 degrees Fahrenheit) out of direct sunlight. Humidity and sunlight can speed up the aging of products, making them expire quicker.

Products & Ingredients

The very heart of Nordermiqa products – the active ingredients – is flowers and herbs from the Baltic meadows and forests.

The natural environment in the Baltic region is unique because the northern summers are much shorter, leaving flowers with a much shorter time to attract bees for pollination. Plants are compelled to concentrate their blossoming vigour in this short blossoming time. As a result, at the time of harvest they are rich with the active ingredients required to survive in bitter climates.

We believe that all skincare and makeup on the planet should be done right – effective yet friendly to the skin and our environment.

Nordemiqa  marries nature with science to create game-changing products that harness powerful plants actives to deliver real results.

Nourishing both the skin and senses, all products are Natural and Organic Certified according to the international COSMOS standard by ECOCERT Greenlife.

Yes – a big part of our ethos is creating eco-conscious products, which is why our product packaging is recyclable and made of BPA-free materials.

The majority of Nordermiqa products are vegan, with the exception of certain formulas that contain lanolin and beeswax.

Since all our products are ECOCERT certified, the lanolin and beeswax found in our formulas are produced in a strictly regulated way. From sheep farming and beekeeping to the way the ingredients are obtained, every step is monitored to ensure that animals are not harmed in any way.

All Nordermiqa products are formulated with clean ingredients and checked for safety, but they have not been specifically tested on pregnant or breast-feeding women. For those pregnant or breast feeding we recommend checking the ingredients list of any product with a doctor to address any concerns.

The most common allergens found in the products are Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Eugenol. The ingredients of each product are clearly listed on the product page, please check against the list to identify potential allergens.

Yes. No corner cutting. Full stop.
You can be sure that all Nordermiqa’s products are free from parabens, mineral oils, silicones, PEG, chemical UV filters, microplastics, synthetic fragrances, artificial colorants and other questionable ingredients.

Not all alcohols are created equal, and not all are bad for the skin – each ingredient in Nordermiqa formulas has been carefully evaluated to ensure it is safe to use.

Please check the INCI ingredient list for each product to find out it contains alcohol and/or alcohol derivatives.
However, majority of products has some traces of alcohol since most plant extracts (except in oil products) are made using alcohol-based extraction methods.

So even though there might be no alcohol and/or alcohol derivates listed in INCI, we can’t claim the products are actually alcohol-free.

The only sulfate that we use in our products is sodium coco sulfate (SCS), which is approved by the third-party certification organisation COSMOS. SCS does not penetrate the epidermis and is far less irritating than the often-used sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).

We do not add palm oil to our formulas as a separate ingredient, however, palm oil derivatives may be part of another ingredient and are present in most products (for example, palmitic acid), although in a very low concentration.

All ingredients containing palm oil derivatives are RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified, which means that plantations are cultivated using sustainable methods.

Yes – we do not use synthetic fragrances. All our fragrance compositions are 100% vegan, carefully curated using natural aromatic substances, with no phthalates or other synthetic preservatives involved.

Ascorbyl Palmitate is a stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C. Formulated by combining ascorbic acid with palmitic acid, it is used in our products due to its antioxidant abilities.

Shipping & Returns

We currently ship only to countries in the European Union, United Kingdom and the United States.

We are looking to bringing Nordermiqa to other places, but please write as an email to customerservice@nordermiqa.com if you feel left out and we’ll see what we can do about it.

 

Lead time consists of fulfillment time + delivery time. Delivery times are displayed below. To calculate the lead time (the time from the moment you place the order till the moment you receive it), please take delivery time and add:

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to make any changes. This includes amending the delivery address, shipping method, or removing items from the order.

If you do need to change your address, you can do it by notifying the courier who will contact you on the day of the delivery to coordinate the address and time of arrival.

Once processed, your order should typically arrive within 4-8 working days. Occasionally it may take a little longer to reach you, especially if it’s a larger order – if you still haven’t received your order after 14 working days, please get in touch with our customer service.

If dissatisfied with a purchase from NORDERMIQA Skincare’s website, you have the right to withdraw your purchase or exchange the product by notifying NORDERMIQA Skincare (customerservice@nordermiqa.com) within 14 days of receiving your order. For damaged products during transportation, provide photo evidence to customerservice@nordermiqa.com.

Returned products must be unused and accompanied by the original invoice within 14 days of your notice. Returns are accepted only if labels and original packaging are fully intact and in resellable condition. NORDERMIQA Skincare does not accept returns with removed labels or opened products.

Refunds for returned goods will be processed within 14 days by the original payment method, excluding additional duties and/or taxes.

All shipping fees are non-refundable and you (the customer) must pay the return shipping cost.

You’ll be sent a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order is on the way.
If your tracking number isn’t working or you haven’t received it, please reach out to our customer service and we will further assist.

Unfortunately, we do not ship to PO boxes. As you might understand it is a risky business to send skincare products to unreliable environment.

Payments

We currently accept Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and PayPal.

If your payment didn’t go through, please check if your card’s billing details match with what you’ve entered into our system. If not, we suggest trying another payment method or making sure there are enough funds on the chosen account.

Certification

Yes, our production facility is certified according to ISO 22716:2007, the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetics.

To ensure the safe manufacturing of cosmetic products, ISO 22716:2007 provides guidelines for the production, control, storage and shipment.
